Bio

Adam Brister is a Christian and Gospel singer, songwriter and musician from Southwest Mississippi. He combines a mixture of influences across a broad spectrum of Christian genres from bluegrass gospel to Praise & Worship into mix that is distinctively Southern, and 100% Gospel.

Adam grew up in a musical family, a nephew of Southern Gospel Hall of Famer Joel Hemphill, and began singing in church at a very young age. Later on he picked up the guitar, then harmonica, bass, dobro, banjo drums and lap steel. Eventually he began writing and performing his own original songs.

Along with his family, Adam has performed alongside such notable Gospel artists as the Kingsmen Quartet, Sheri LaFontaine and the Down East Boys.
